sandcastles is the name given to a range of Shareware written by me, Paul B Jones. This software is not meant to be anything more serious than simple entertainment.
To entice you to send real money I am offering, to those who take the time, at least three 800k disks containing my current output, this includes Construction Kits like Trainset, Trams, Trainset II, Dollshouse, and Chutes, Talking Clocks, plus several of bits and pieces that I have been tinkering with.
I own a 512Ke as well as an SE, and I have written most software with system 6.0.4 and 7.0 in mind, in general the only incompatibility comes from my use of icons in the menus and the Sndplay command that is not supported in many of the earlier systems. if you require a version that runs on with system 3.2, then drop me a line.
Several years ago I wrote some stories for a magazine called Electonics Today, International. The original stories were modified by the editorial staff to suit the printed page, but as they were about computers they are now presented in a fashion which is more suitable.
Although there is provision for interupting the story, it comes down to pressing Command-Q, and then waiting.
I have used the Sndplay procedure and so it will not run on early versions of the System.
• Coffee, a dream.
• Flea circus was a Folly.
• Kite Simulator is just for fun.
• Spot is a simple game to idle away the hours?.
• Missed and Carz are similar to Spot, but you will lose points if you get to close to the barrier, the mouse have some control of the object in question, but delayed control.
• Balloon Nav. an exercise and postcard.
KOOBware is often 'System 7.0 Happy' but, eh, who knows.
if nothingelse I'm ending up with a solid System 7.0 Shell, shame that Borland has dropped Turbo Pascal.
